What’s up at Cité Midtown
Welcome to the third edition of What’s up at Cité Midtown, our bimonthly newsletter of Urban Capital’s progress in delivering Cité Midtown.
PHASE 1 CLOSINGS ON SCHEDULE TO START IN OCTOBER
We continue to gear up to welcome the first occupants of Cite Midtown in October. A floor-by-floor schedule of Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) and closing dates for the Phase 1 condominiums and townhouses was included in the last What’s up at Cité Midtown (found here), and was also sent to Phase 1 purchasers directly from our sales office. More detailed information will be sent to Phase 1 purchasers shortly, but for now we are confirming that we continue to be on schedule for the dates sent out earlier.
MEET KIM HO NGUYEN, CITE MIDTOWN’S NEW CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER
We are thrilled to announce that Kim Ho Nguyen has joined the Cité Midtown team as Customer Service Manager. Kim brings fifteen years of experience in customer relations in a number of industries, but particularly the new home sector. We were lucky to get her.
Kim will be responsible for your relationship with us going forward. This includes arranging your Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and meeting with you beforehand, liaising with you in respect of your signing at the notary (closing), and dealing with any customer service issues you may have following your move-in.
Until we are ready to officially occupy the Phase 1 condominium building in mid October, Kim will be working out of the sales office. After that she will be located in the Customer Service / Property Management office, located between the gym and the Aisle-24 grocery store.
CITE MIDTOWN BUILDINGS WILL COME WITH THE 1VALET ENTRY SYSTEM
We are also pleased to announce that Cité Midtown residents will benefit from the 1VALET entry system. The system will allow you to gain entry to your building by facial recognition. or connect by video with a guest, then open the front door, or the garage door, for him or her, all from your mobile phone. And don’t worry about package deliveries - couriers will be able to use the system to gain access to the parcel room, so no excuse if you’re out when your package arrives. For more information visit 1valet.com.
OUTDOOR TRAINING CIRCUIT THROUGHOUT CITÉ MIDTOWN
Urban Capital is working with Techsport to design and install an outdoor training circuit throughout Cité Midtown, with the first and largest installation to be located in the main Pedestrian Corridor between Phases 1 and 2. As part of our plan to make Cite Midtown a healthy, active and vibrant community for all ages, the circuit will be designed to engage, as well as look good.
More information will follow on our other amenities, including exciting news about Cité Midtown’s café, as we work to bring these elements of the project to life. (Speaking of amenities, we are working to make sure the fitness facility and Salle Blanche party room will be ready for use when the first residents arrive in October. We expect the Aisle-24 grocery store to open later in the year, or early in 2022.)
BYE BYE MODEL SUITE
And finally, we are going to be saying goodbye to our model suite, which unfortunately sits over some major underground electrical cables that we need to install, and also exactly where a street light needs to go. We’ve been trying to find ways to save it, but with no success. Luckily, our main sales office has been spared. And to replace the model suite we will be furnishing two ground floor suites that will serve as model suites for our future phases.
Look to see this happen in the next month to month and a half.
